Mr Olayinka Kazeem gave a short history of NIIA.The establishment of NIIA in 1961 and when it fully came under the control of the Federal government in 1971.
Mr Sunday Olujide engaged the student in a rigorous interactive session about the history of Nigeria and her engagement with the international community. He thoroughly exposed how Nigeria's foreign policy has succeeded and failed so far.
Dr Joshua Bolarinwa joined us at the climax of the discussion which at this time was hotly debated. He added more fuel to the interaction by explaining more about Nigeria's position in world affair.
He answered the hefty questions raised by the students. He also explained in details the various Director Generals that have presided over the administration of the institute.
The student learned new things about International relations and at the end of the program they were given 6 different books each at the end of the conference.
The NIIA also donated books and journals of NIIA to the university library
The Students ably led by the President ALAYANDE OLUWAFEMI JOSEPH presented a gift to the NIIA at the end of the program.
Mr Wale, the representative of the lecturers was ably present to assist in the coordination of the successful trip.
The Students will like to thank the Lagos State University management and Parents for supporting the students in participating in this educative field trip.
We look forward to engage in different educative programs such as this and we hope to promote positively the course of humanity.
